This two-year project, initiated by the North Eastern Ohio synod was started in September of 2021 and will conclude as a project in April 2023.

Objectives:

The overall objective of the Dandelion Project is spirtual renewal. Renewal is intended for both individuals and the congregation as a whole. Roughly, every quarter, all the teams from the participating churches met for a large all day meeting. These meetings were at one of the churches that formed the project. In between, there were shorter Zoom meetings, smaller meetings with 2 or 3 local churches, as well as meetings with an assigned coach.

Dandelion activites at Lord of Life

• A focus on sharing “God moments” and the creation of a bulletin board to display God mements. The point of the God mements was to stress the fact that God is active is our lives. “God is ….”.
• An emphasis on the five promises of baptism. This included a series of sermons on the promises and the optionto keep a diary of how each of felt we were living out the promises.
